Bursting with tone
Like a whirlwind. Burstbucker pickups are known for their vintage Gibson sound and crunchy, dynamic tone. They'll give your riffs a huge boost by making them ring out with clarity and 'burst' with harmonics. The bridge position Burstbucker offers a high output, hot sound. It creates that classic, PAF-style vintage tone, whilst adding slightly more bite and crunch for added character. Your rhythm licks will sound pristine, jumping out with energy.
The Burstbucker in the neck, which takes your tone to a different world. Oozing with a lower output magic, it makes each note fat and juicy, allowing lead licks in particular to shine through. Then there's the special middle pickup, which can be controlled by the Volume dial, letting you blend it in with the neck or bridge humbuckers. Plus the neck and bridge humbuckers can be coil-split, to unlock those chiming, punchy single coil tones in an instant. These pickups are the definition of dynamic.

Made just for this guitar. The Tune-O-Matic bridge comes complete with a Kirk Douglas signature 'Captain' lyre tail vibrola system. This allows you to put vibrato in anything, from your riffs, to your chords, to your coffee. From an elegant shimmer to a full pitch dive, its quality construction ensures you get the perfect level of vibrato - every time.
