The Gibson Hummingbird Left Handed 2019 only gets better with age. The Hummingbird features a sitka spruce top which delivers a broad dynamic range, and a sound that develops character over its life. In addition, the Hummingbird's beautiful top is accompanied by mahogany back and sides which produce a resonant, distinct-warmth. Additionally, used as back and side panels, the mahogany projects a superb mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity. Furthermore, the fingerboard is graced with eye-catching mother of pearl parallelogram inlays, adding to the Hummingird's already premium appearance.

This high-quality LR Baggs system features a low-profile undersaddle pickup that's proven more stable and durable than many standard ribbon-type pickups. With an unobtrusive and removable volume/tone control mounted just within the soundhole, the VTC and the Hummingbird together are an unmistakable combination.
Additionally, the VTC features rotary controls for both volume and tone shaping, allowing you to easily tweak your amplified tone. Traditional Hand Scalloped X-Bracing

This specific type of bracing structure consists of two braces forming an 'X' shape across the soundboard which not only enhances the sound and offers a well-balanced tone, but also provides a reinforced stable and durable structure. Furthermore, with traditional hand-scalloped X-bracing, the Hummingbird's tone is enhanced beautifully, providing superior projection and volume.

The body is finished in a stunning vintage cherry sunburst which is a key part of its rich history.
