All-solid tonewoods with individually voiced soundboard

The Vintage 2 OM-SR combines an AA-grade solid Sitka spruce top with AA-grade solid Indian rosewood back and sides, delivering a balanced, articulate acoustic voice. Clear highs, full-bodied lows and rich overtones provide expressive tonal depth across the instrument's range. Furch individually voices each soundboard, carefully refining its response to achieve consistent clarity, harmonic richness and dynamic balance. The OM body shape brings traditional orchestra-model proportions to this carefully crafted instrument, combining premium tonewoods with Furch's precise approach to acoustic soundboard construction and performance.

CNR System Active for lasting neck stability

Furch's CNR System Active is designed to maintain consistent string action and comfortable playability as humidity conditions change. Its dual-action truss rod is enclosed within a rigid carbon structure, while a solid-wood expansion element automatically adjusts the neck angle to compensate for environmental changes. This innovative construction supports long-term neck stability and reduces the need for extensive adjustments. The African mahogany neck features a comfortable soft V profile, complemented by a 400mm-radius ebony fretboard and polished frets for smooth, responsive playing across the neck.

Resonance-enhancing finish and vintage appointments

The Vintage 2 OM-SR celebrates traditional acoustic guitar styling through carefully selected decorative details and Furch's resonance-enhancing Full-Pore Vintage Finish. This ultra-thin, UV-polymerised lacquer protects the instrument while enhancing its natural resonance, with a hand-brushed appearance reminiscent of aged instruments. Artificial ivory binding, herringbone purfling and a green abalone double-ring rosette create an elegant period-inspired aesthetic. The ebony headstock overlay features the Furch Heritage logo and Vintage floral design, commemorating the company's 45th anniversary and paying tribute to its historic guitar designs and craftsmanship.

Precision hardware and protective T-Line case

Gotoh SE700 Gold Patina machine heads provide precise tuning adjustments and excellent stability, featuring a traditional appearance and 1:15 gear ratio. An ebony bridge and matching bridge pins complement the fully compensated TUSQ saddle, while D'Addario XS Bronze strings complete the playing setup. The included Furch T-Line hardshell case provides dependable protection during transport and storage. Its thermoformed shell incorporates rigid polyurethane foam reinforcement, combining strength with manageable weight, while the precisely moulded long-feather cloth interior helps protect the instrument against impacts and environmental changes.
