Unique Appearance
Sporting a futuristic-looking chrome casing with red knobs, the Tonal Recall will stand out from any pedalboard and outshine any other pedal. Equipped with six knobs to control tone, mix, rate, time, regen and depth, four toggle switches and two stompswitches, it is certainly very easy to operate despite its overwhelming appearance.
The Red Knob Modification
The Tonal Recall Red Knob features four reissued versions of the legendary MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chip, increasing its delay time from 550ms to 1100ms and providing more repeats, music oscillation, and natural runaway than the standard and blue knob Tonal Recall pedals. This modification provides players with the ability to create a slightly brighter delay effect, perfect for dark sound amps and guitars.
Triangle, Sine, & Square Waves
As well as this internal feature, the Tonal Recall also includes three selectable waveforms of Triangle, Sine and Square. This particular feature is perfect for shaping your repeats, offering a stunning sounding delay that can fit any style of music with its subtle wavering tape like modulation to ambient oscillating drones.
Mini Dip Switches
Like the other pedals in the Chase Bliss Audio lineup, the Tonal Recall is also equipped with 16 easily-accessible mini DIP switches which allows players to modulate various parameters in several unique ways. Offering a vast amount of unique tones which can be tweaked to achieve a sound that stands out from the rest, the mini dip switches also include an easy-to-read mini chart which is located at the side of the unit.
MIDI Compatible
The Tonal Recall is also MIDI compatible and can be used with an Empress Effects Midibox (Sold Separately). It allows all of its parameters to be controlled via control change messages, and its presets to be saved and recalled with program change messages.
