This page shows the top used products we’re looking to buy, and we actually accept many thousands more items! This list is primarily products that are no longer available in a new condition, and have stopped being produced. If you’ve got something to trade-in and want to check if we accept it, you can search here.
The range of products we’re looking for is always expanding, so do check back regularly.
Which secondhand items do you accept?
We strive to offer our customers a hassle-free trade-in experience by accepting a broad range of items in good or excellent condition. This includes guitars, synths, pro audio, DJ equipment, and much more. In fact, we accept thousands of secondhand products through the gear4music trade-in service.
How do I trade-in my secondhand gear?
At Gear4music, it’s easy to sell your gear. To get started, navigate to gear4music trade-in page.

Next, confirm its condition and select whether you’d like to receive cash or Gear4music account credit towards your next purchase. You’ll then be able to arrange collection of your item through a number of convenient methods, with your cash or Gear4music credit. We’ll send you your cash or credit within a few days of receiving your item.
How will my instrument be valued?
You can easily see how much you’ll get for your gear by answering some very quick and simple questions about your gear’s condition. To get started find your item on the site and click “trade-in you gear” or use the search here.
