The Divine has impeccable intonation as well as an unlimited potential for a vast range of tonal characters due to its ease of play, focus and simplified poly-cylindrical bore. Made from the best-selected natural African blackwood, the Buffet Crampon Divine Bb Clarinet blends innovation and tradition in perfect harmony. The Divine comes equipped with a case, ligature and reed.
Please note that wooden instruments are affected by humidity and temperature and as a result, the wood may expand and contract which would affect joints such as the tenons and bell rings. If you do experience any difficulties, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to help.

Researched and developed by Paul Meyer, the Divine clarinet was brought to life while trying to find new acoustics. This model has the same hole placement as the Tosca clarinet, enabling better intonation throughout all its registers. The bore design has also been improved, with characteristics like flexible register-crossing and free blowing, the poly-cylindrical is a popular choice among professionals. Carefully selected African blackwood provides focused, pure tones which gives the player freedom of expression and flexibility while performing.
Unlike other models, the Divine clarinet features a natural selected African blackwood (otherwise known as Grenadilla) body. The benefit from this wood body is the unprecedented tone, which is favoured by all professional musicians and has been the professional choice of wood for decades.
The Buffet Divine clarinet has a simple design featuring 19 keys and 6 rings. All keywork is silver or gold plated, which is long lasting and ergonomic - allowing ease of play for busy professionals. This combined with an adjustable thumb rest, makes the Divine very nice to play. All tone holes have been undercut and combined with leather and natural cork pads, creates a great seal with better intonation and tonal character.
