The Archer Custom Vireo violin has a beautifully sweet, strong tone with concert hall scale projection. The Archer Custom comes supplied professionally set up and ready to play as a complete outfit, fitted with Dominant Strings and complete with a quality bow, rosin and rigid foam case.

Handcrafted from Start to Finish

Unlike so many other violins on the market, this Vireo has been handcrafted by one single person from the start of its life right through to the finished product. The parts of the violin have been designed and manufactured individually for each instrument, meaning that every part will work to its optimum level of performance.

The sound of the Dominant string is full and mellow, yet rich in overtones. Its radiance and ability to project sound without being metallic, comes to the fore both in arco and pizzicato. Other advantages are Dominant's effortless response to intricate fingering and its tuning stability even under extreme atmospheric conditions. But Dominant's beauty of tone is not as long lasting as that of a steel string - a price the discerning musician will be prepared to pay for this quality of sound.

Professional Archer Case

This violin has a case that can cater for all needs. The stitched padded inside is combined with the hard foam ridged case to provide great protection to the instrument. Two inside pockets can easily store spare strings, violin rests and rosin with ease, while the outside zip pocket can hold music and work books. The inbuilt hydrometer monitors the humidity inside the case and the hydro-tube helps control it. The outside lock provides added security and the shoulder straps allow the violin to be carried about with ease.

Ex-Demo Violin

Please note that this instrument is an ex-demo violin. There are marks where the bridge has scratched the varnish on the body of the instrument, which is only visible when the bridge is down. This is a perfect opportunity to purchase a fully functioning instrument at a fraction of the price.
