Nectar 2's harmony module intelligently generates in-key harmonies using the lead vocal as a guide, enabling you to achieve great-sounding harmonies quickly. You can also enrich your vocal production manually by defining your own custom harmonies playing notes on your MIDI controller. Nectar 2 combines modern technology with a retro feel, with a fully revamped reverb designed to emulate the iconic EMT 140, capturing the distinctive warmth and density of the EMT 140 while providing unique controls that were physically impossible in the original device.

Pitch Editor and Breath Control [Production Suite]

Manual pitch correction is simpler than ever with the Pitch Editor plug-in, allowing you to stay in tune without ever leaving your DAW. Nectar 2's enhancements include a refreshed interface for graphical pitch editing and improved visual feedback, all within a resizable window. Your vocal track will be pitch-perfect in no time with the easy to navigate workspace, increasing your creativity and workflow. Also bundled as part of the Nectar 2 Production Suite is the Breath Control plug-in which features intelligent detection that can separate breath sounds from snug or spoken vocals, so no need for any more time-consuming and tedious manual editing of breaths.

The new FX module featured on the Nectar 2 Vocal Processing Tool allows you to completely re-imagine your sound, with 7 new effects. De-Esser and EQ

Inspired by the DBX 902 De-Esser, Nectar 2's intuitive De-Esser has been primed for smooth results thanks to extensive hardware modeling. Now you can reduce the distracting "ess" sounds that can often plague vocal tracks of all kinds, whether sung or spoken. Nectar's transparent EQ will add tonal clarity and presence. Featuring the best of iZotope's award-winning EQ design, you'll get high-quality processing, a wealth of filter options, and a flexible graphical interface.

Compressor

Shape the dynamics of your vocal track exactly how you want it with Nectar 2's Compressor. Capture signature sounds like the Motown vocal flavour, reduce the dynamic range of a recording, make the track more consistent in volume, or increase its average level.
