SPL strive to give you the best possible products. That's why the One d is made from the finest components. At the heart of the device lies two Burr-Brown OPA 2134 SoundPlus operational amplifiers. Renowned for their low noise and minute distortion, they are an audiophiles' dream. The inclusion of a true FET stage makes the One d an incredible device for playback. Thanks to the Panasonic ‘Electric Double Layer’ gold electrolytic capacitors, you'll be provided with the greatest storage capacity available on the market.
Twice the power
The output stage in the headphone amplifier works as a "push-pull" amplifier in a Class AB function. The inclusion of bipolar transistors ensure that any amplification of the positive and negative half-waves is evenly distributed. Thanks to this, the One d is able to emit incredible levels of gain and output voltage, compared to amplifiers that work on standard Class A operation. You'll be provided with a generous amount of current via the power supply's buffer circuit, this is consistent, even when low-impedance headphones are inserted.

The One d features a powerful AK4490 converter chip. This is at the forefront of a new generation of high-quality 32-bit DACs.
