Effortless matrix mixer

In this mode, CVilization mixes the 4 inputs to the 4 outputs, regardless of whether you're using audio or CV signals. The rotary dials on the front of the unit function the same as what would normally be done with 16 knobs on a traditional matrix mixer, allowing you to do much more in a smaller footprint for space-conscious users. Instant recall of presets allows you to quickly jump between settings without missing a beat, making it the perfect choice for live musicians looking to add diversity and flexibility to their setup and take control over their signal paths with ease. Not only that, but in Matrix Mixer mode, CVilization lets you transpose each output of the matrix in octaves, semitones or cents to tune your oscillator frequency or audio melody to the key of your song.

Sequential switching

A unique and creative feature, the CVilization features a sequential switch mode to create a world of accidentals and oddities that can help to add dynamic to your music. A trigger signal sent through the input will shuffle the inputs to the outputs, where each output has an eight-step sequence that selects one of the inputs per step to create a random value a static value or a skip. To keep your sequence from running hot, each step has its own gain control to keep your levels in check and stop any unwanted peaks. Explore a world of evolving, ever-changing patterns that can transform your music from static and lifeless to vibrant and interesting.

Quad Mucorder

Turn your CVilization into a flexible four-track CV recorder with up to 16 steps per track in Quad Mucorder mode. Manipulate and mutated your sequences once recorded to create out of this world sounds that take your playing to another dimension. Each sequence can be independently transposed, dubbed and manipulated to different scales, glide rates and more all of which are controllable via an external gate to be switched on and off. For channels that do not have any recorded sequences, CVilization turns them into a classic sample and hold processor, letting you add staccato effects for a rhythmic expression.

Quadraphonic panner

Compatible with both audio and CV signals, Quadraphonic panner mode lets you pan each input across all four outputs in a circular fashion. Adventure into the world of quadraphony and experiment with panning channels in new ways to help add space to your mix, letting instruments have their own section of the stereo field. This can be particularly handy for dense mixes to give breathing space for instruments that are the focal point of your track.
