A compact unit with a range of capabilities. The Duatt 1U will integrate easily into your current setup as a dual-channel active/buffered attenuverter and summing mixer. Offering features from the much larger Quadratt 1U module, the Duatt also has an added gain multiplier switch.
With no input, each knob on the Duatt controls a voltage range 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V, decided by the multifunctional channel polarity switch. When patched in, each knob operates as either an attenuator or attenuverter. This is once again decided by the polarity switch. Signal from channel A is routed through channel B for mixing purposes and the voltage can be doubled using the dedicated switch for channel A.

Each channel has a dedicated knob which functions as a unipolar attenuator or a bipolar attenuverter. The option of both allows you to experiment to find the desired effect. As an attenuator, you will be able to find true zero for your signal. Alternatively, the attenuverter can be used to invert the voltage signal. This is changed with the corresponding switch position.
Each input is normalled to the built-in +5V DC voltage source. When no input is patched into the Duatt, each knob controls a voltage range 0 to +5 V or -5 to +5 V. This is selected by switching the channel polarity switch. A switch is also dedicated to doubling the voltage going into channel A on the Duatt. For mixing, channel A’s output in normalled into channel B. This can be patched differently to alter the signal flow.
