View Full DescriptionIn its simplest form, the AB Box can be used as a basic mute switch by using only the Input and a single Output. When the pedal is bypassed, the signal flow is uninterrupted, but pressing the switch allows you to mute the output.
When all three connections are used, the box enables you to toggle between the outputs with a press of the switch. This is useful if you want to instantly switch between amps, and handy red and blue LEDs will indicate which output is currently being used. If you connect a tuner to one of the outputs, the box becomes an effective Mute/Tuner switch, removing the tuner from your signal chain while playing.
The pedal's inputs and outputs can run in both directions, allowing it to function as an input selector. For example, if you wish to regularly switch between instruments during shows, you can plug two guitars into the outputs and connect the input to your amp.
