The Ibanez KIKO10P signature electric is a result of the collaboration between Ibanez and Brazil's most internationally recognised guitarist, Kiko Loureiro. It takes a stunning Ibanez guitar as its base and adds in many clever ornate details and premium design touches to match up to Kiko's varied style of playing. DiMarzio original pickups feature alongside body contouring and coil-tapping to provide another unique high-end guitar in the Ibanez signature range.

About Kiko Loureiro

Pedro Henrique 'Kiko' Loureiro is the talented guitarist of heavy metal bands Angra and Megadeth, as well as being well-known for his own solo work. Loureiro has released over 10 albums with Angra, and although he has only released 1 with Megadeth so far, he won his first Grammy award with them for 'Best Metal Performance' in 2017. Kiko is renowned for his technical and talented guitar playing, which includes his skillful techniques of two handed tapping, sweep picking and alternate picking. As well as Kiko's band playing, he has released many video guitar lessons to influence many guitarists like Eddie Van Halen, Jimmy Page & Jimi Hendrix all inspired him.

Loaded With DiMarzio KIKO Original Pickups

The Kiko Loureiro signature electric is loaded with 3 DiMarzio KIKO Original Pickups at the bridge, neck and middle positions. The bridge and neck pickups are Humbuckers, which produce a full, open sound with excellent gain, with sweet warmth at the neck and a fat, 'thundering' sound at the bridge. The middle pickup is a Single Coil, and offers a defined and clear tone with plenty of attack, ideal for heavy styles.

Alder Body Topped With Flamed Maple

With a body constructed from alder, players are certain to benefit from its lightweight, adding to the overall comfort of the guitar. In addition, its alder body produces a well-balanced tone with excellent definition and dynamics with sizzling highs. Its alder body is attached to a visually striking flamed maple top, offering an eye-catching appearance with a sonically pleasing bright attack. The maple can also extend the tonal range of the alder making it an ultimate pairing for a versatile performance.

5pc Maple/Walnut Neck & Bound Panga Panga Fingerboard

With a 5 piece neck constructed from maple and walnut, the KIKO10P has an added bright attack with added sustain and plenty of bite blended with a unique earthy warmth. Its 5 piece design and titanium rods help to create a strong and durable neck that is less likely to twist and warp over time, as well as enhancing tuning stability and resonance. In addition, the neck is topped with a panga panga fingerboard which adds strong low-end articulation to your player's individual style. Furthermore, for added aesthetic appeal, the fingerboard features a specially designed inlay, located on the 12th fret.
