Product Ref: 288181
The Artist offers several improvements and enhancements over the standard Katana head to provide the ultimate amp experience. Firstly, the dials are now front facing for easier shaping and tweaking during a performance. Secondly, extra onboard Solo and Contour controls allow you to craft even more bespoke tones for cutting through a mix. And speaking of mixes, the cabinet emulation of the Artist provides mix ready signals for recording or sending to a house PA system.
Boss Tone Studio takes your Katana experience even further, especially with the Artist range! It allows you to adjust your effect orders, dial in global EQs, and customise system settings amongst many other possiblities! What's more, the Livesets functionality lets you save your favourite setups for instant amp reconfiguration.
Authentic tube warmth, every time you plug in. The Boss Katana Artist MKII ensures every player can experience the coveted sound of a genuine tube amplifier in a design that's built for the modern stage. Using Boss's Tube Logic approach, the Katana MKII becomes richer and more responsive as you crank up the volume.
And, thanks to an incorporated power control, finding that tube tone sweet spot is simpler than ever. Just dial back the wattage and maintain high volume to unleash inspiring crunch tones in any environment. With the Artist, you can use the Boss Tone Studio app to set the power in 10W increments, letting you fine tune the amp for your situation.
For a refined performance and massive tones, hook up the Artist head with its companion cabinet. It's specially designed to enhance and articulate the tones of the Artist head thanks to two custom designed Waza speakers. These capture the benchmark tones and response of classic British 25-watt stack speakers, while boosting the power capacity to a whopping 100 Watts.
