Expanding on the design of its predecessor, the Nord Piano 5 now features two independent piano engines and two sample synth engines. Each of the section feature two layers which can be configured to be split or layered when playing. The onboard memory has also been expanded, doubling the storage space for both the sample and piano libraries. The Piano Section now includes 9 Grands, 9 Uprights, 10 Enhanced Electric Pianos, Clavinet, Digital Pianos, Marimba, Vibraphone and many more, meticulously recreated in digital formats using Nord's advanced sampling technology.
The Sample Synth section has been fully revamped with two new independent sample synths complete with a range of new sounds. Basing its design on a brand new format, with two layers with in-depth controls including attack, decay/release and the ability to tweak the dynamic velocity response.
