And it all starts with a pair of raucous BurstBucker pickups. Equipped with alnico V magnets and in an open coil design, they're high in output and ready for rocking tones. They're bedded into a gorgeous cherry sunburst body with an AA figured maple top that's had a satin nitrocellulose lacquer applied - so it'll feel just like an original from decades past. Complete with genuine components like the Grover Rotomatic tuners with Kidney Buttons, gold Top Hat controls with Silver Reflectors and a '60s style SlimTape shaped neck, this has the vibe, verve and exceptional playability of Gibon's finest Les Pauls.

Starting with its accurate Grover Rotomatic Kidney tuning buttons and gold Top Hat knobs with Silver Reflectors, it's got the period correct charm to win you over. Add to that its gorgeous vintage cherry sunburst finish and satin nitrocellulose lacquer, and it's hard to keep your eyes away!

But isn't just about its looks because Gibson have made sure it feels correct. An unchambered, purely solid mahogany body provides the heft and weight you'd expect from a vintage LP, while the '60s neck profile ensures you'll be chording and riffing like the players of old. Authenticity at its finest.

Timeless tones

Sizzling sixties sonics. The Standard Faded ‘60s hosts a pair of BurstBucker pickups that are voiced for the times. An era where the Les Paul had a bit of extra bite in its tone and growl on the stage. As such, they’re fitted with alnico V magnets for a weighty output that’s rich in sustain. Crank them with some overdrive and distortion to enjoy crisp and articulate crunch tones. Tones that have a bright and clear top end to let your leads stand our through a mix.

Built in an open coil style for that extra output edge, these pickups are ready to rule the stage. Even better, they’re hand wired to audio taper pots with orange drop capacitors so that you’ll have exact control on your sound. Each level on the tone and volume knob will have a noticeable difference, where at the lower end the sound cleans up considerably, but crank them to the maximum to unleash that unbridled Les Paul tone.
