The Tama Superstar Classic 22" 5pc Shell Pack is ideal for drummers after a high-quality, great-looking kit with enhanced resonance and flexible setup. Made from 100 percent maple, each drum delivers warmth and clarity, with added presence from the outer ply of exotic Lacebark Pine. The Star-Mount system and low-mass lugs are both designed to maximise shell vibration, helping every hit sound open and natural.
The included Power Craft II drum heads give you a strong, focused tone straight out of the box, while the bass drum comes fitted with built-in ring mufflers to cut unwanted overtones. It's all mounted using TAMA's trusted MTH600 tom holder and L-Rod system, making positioning easy and stable.

Every drum in the Superstar Classic shell pack is built from 100 percent maple, a wood chosen for its rich low-end and clear mids. Whether you're recording or gigging, these shells deliver a balanced, powerful tone with excellent attack. The toms and snare use a 6-ply construction with an outer ply of Lacebark Pine, while the bass drum uses 8-ply for added depth and projection. This setup offers drummers a responsive and versatile sound across all playing styles.
Exotic finish adds a premium look
The outer ply of Lacebark Pine adds a striking, high-end appearance to the kit. This exotic wood grain gives the Gloss Garnet finish a unique texture and character, making it stand out under stage lights. It's a kit that looks as bold as it sounds, offering a visual upgrade without compromising on performance.
Mounting systems built for tone and flexibility
The Star-Mount system attaches to the batter-side hoop at four points, allowing the toms to resonate freely without pressure on the shell. Combined with the newly designed low-mass lugs, these features enhance the natural sustain and openness of each drum. TAMA's MTH600 tom holder and L-Rod design let you position your toms exactly where you want them, without the mounting system interfering with shell vibration.
