The Eden I90 Bass Chorus Pedal includes 4 controls to tailor your chorus effect, but it doesn't over-complicate the process. This makes it very simple to achieve a great chorus sound on your bass guitar (or general bass instrument) with an intuitive range of controls. The bass chorus is a useful effect for pop, jazz and funk tones, and can either subtly thicken your sound or radically alter it with a shimmery and spacious tone. It still allows you to maintain clarity and low-end definition.
The Speed and Depth are responsive to one another, and shape the overall tonality of the chorus effect, with the potential to create subtle widening of tone or fast and warbly-sounding extreme sounds. The low-cut alters where in the frequency range the chorus is applied to; this means you can still maintain low-end clarity with the effect only being applied to upper frequencies. The mix level allows you to dial in the exact blend of effect you require. These 4 controls are easy enough to operate without the manual, yet provide an easy way to get great sounding chorus tones.
Eden have been producing quality amps and cabinets since 1976. Their first pedal was the popular WDTI DI box/preamp and now they have a high quality chorus effect to add to the collection. It features its own power supply and a rugged construction that would look great on any pedalboard.
"The I-90 is a sturdy chorus pedal that allows bassists to control the range of their chorus effect without frequency loss, and it offers up a richer and thicker tone with a deeper low-end than some other pedals in its class. I was probably most impressed overall with the consistency of the I-90 and its dedication to doing one thing and doing it very well—this is a stompbox with a spotlight solely on chorus." - Premier Guitar
