The XR16 comes with a built-in tri-mode WiFi router, allowing direct control of the mixer's functions without needing an external router. This feature gives you the freedom to move around the venue and adjust settings from anywhere using an iPad, Android tablet, or laptop. The mixer supports Access Point mode for direct connections, WiFi Client mode to join an existing network, and wired connections via Ethernet.

USB connectivity and stereo recording

The front panel USB type-A connector enables uncompressed stereo WAV recording and playback. This allows you to capture live stereo tracks directly to a USB flash drive or hard drive, making it easy to record performances and playback background music during breaks.

The built-in 100-band Real Time Analyzer (RTA) provides detailed visual feedback for all channel and bus EQs, enabling precise frequency adjustments. The RTA can be displayed on top of the 31-band graphic EQs in the main and aux buses, making it easy to monitor and control frequencies.

Comprehensive connectivity and control

The XR16 offers 4 aux buses and main LR outputs, each with inserts, full dynamics processing, and 6-band parametric or 31-band graphic EQ. It includes 2 TRS aux outputs, 2 XLR main outputs, and a headphone connector. The mixer also supports MIDI In/Out for control via external MIDI devices, including the Mackie Control protocol.

Free iOS, Android, PC/Mac, and Linux apps are available for remote operation via Ethernet, LAN, or WiFi.
