Full Description
View Full DescriptionThree versatile Fishman Fluence pickup voices
Explore an extensive range of sounds with custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups developed specifically for the Prophecy series. Three distinct voices cover modern high-output active humbucker sounds, vintage P.A.F.-inspired warmth, and clear single-coil-style articulation. This versatility makes it easy to move between aggressive metal rhythms, expressive blues leads, and cleaner passages without changing instruments. Individual push/pull volume controls provide coil-splitting functions, while the push/pull tone controls select pickup voicings. The result is a flexible electronic system offering tight bass frequencies, focused midrange, and outstanding note definition.
Fast HyperGlide neck and stainless steel frets
Designed for precision and playability, the thermally aged, one-piece maple neck features Epiphone's streamlined HyperGlide profile. Its comfortable satin finish encourages fluid movement across the fretboard, while graphite reinforcement rods provide additional strength and stability. The bound ebony fretboard combines a 10–14-inch compound radius with 24 stainless steel frets, providing a smooth, durable playing surface for everything from intricate chord work to demanding solos. An extended 25.5-inch scale length enhances string tension and note clarity, making the guitar particularly effective for modern tunings and drop-tuned performances requiring accurate articulation.
Modern comfort meets classic Les Paul styling
The Prophecy Les Paul retains the unmistakable single-cut silhouette while introducing ergonomic improvements designed for contemporary players. Ultra Modern weight relief keeps the guitar light, helping to improve comfort during extended rehearsals and performances. A Modern Contoured Heel provides easier access to the highest frets, allowing you to explore the upper register with greater freedom. The rear belly carve creates a more comfortable fit against the player's body, particularly during longer playing sessions. These thoughtful refinements combine the familiar feel of a Les Paul with the accessibility and precision required for demanding modern techniques.
Reliable hardware and balanced string tension
Enjoy dependable tuning stability and responsive performance with a carefully selected combination of premium hardware. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners work alongside a Graph Tech nut and LockTone Modern bridge to maintain accurate tuning and provide a stable foundation for expressive playing. The distinctive string-through-body tailpiece, inspired by the Frequensator design, improves string tension balance while promoting strong sustain and smooth bending response. This arrangement helps produce defined low frequencies and expressive high notes, making it particularly effective for demanding rhythm work and technical leads. An included Protector Ultralite case provides convenient protection for transportation and storage.
