Full Description
View Full DescriptionExtended scale for powerful baritone tones
Explore deeper tunings with the Prophecy Les Paul Baritone's extended 27-inch scale length. Designed to accommodate lower baritone tunings, this longer scale helps maintain string tension, definition, and clarity across the instrument's expanded range. The supplied .012–.060 strings complement this configuration, providing a balanced response for heavy riffs and articulate chord work. Sitting between the familiar ranges of standard guitar and bass, the baritone design retains conventional guitar chord shapes while delivering the extended low-frequency reach required for modern playing styles.
Three versatile Fishman Fluence pickup voices
Shape your sound with custom-voiced Fishman Fluence pickups developed exclusively for the Prophecy series. These advanced pickups provide three selectable tonal characters, covering modern high-output active humbucker sounds, vintage Patent Applied For-inspired warmth, and clear single-coil-inspired tones. Push/pull controls provide access to the different voices and coil-splitting options, expanding the guitar's versatility across musical styles. From tightly defined high-gain riffs to expressive leads and cleaner passages, the Fluence electronics deliver a broad tonal palette while maintaining clarity, articulation, and consistent performance throughout the instrument's extended range.
Fast neck and precision fretboard
Enjoy smooth, confident playing with a thermally aged, one-piece maple neck featuring Epiphone's fast HyperGlide profile. Graphite reinforcement rods provide additional stability, while the satin neck finish supports comfortable movement during demanding performances. The bound ebony fretboard features a 10–14-inch compound radius, combining comfortable chord playing with a flatter upper-register surface for technical leads. Twenty-four stainless steel frets provide a durable, precise playing surface, while the Modern Contoured Heel improves access to the highest positions. A rear belly carve adds further comfort during extended sessions.
Premium hardware and dependable performance
Built for demanding playing styles, the Prophecy Les Paul Baritone combines carefully selected hardware with performance-focused construction. Locking Grover Rotomatic tuners and a Graph Tech nut contribute to dependable tuning stability, while the through-body, Frequensator-inspired tailpiece design is intended to balance string tension and enhance sustain. The extended scale and carefully engineered hardware work together to maintain definition across lower tunings. A distinctive Les Paul silhouette, refined decorative appointments, and included Protector Ultralite case complete an instrument designed for reliable performance, convenient transportation, and long-term playing enjoyment.
