The Epiphone Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul is a loving nod to one of rock’s most recognisable guitars — the famously modded “Oxblood” Les Paul seen on the cover of *Blow by Blow*. With a chunky Custom Large C neck, USA-made Gibson Custombuckers, and a wraparound bridge, it’s got all the tone and attitude you’d expect from something bearing Beck’s name.
This isn’t just for show — it’s built to be played. From the long neck tenon and 50s wiring to the aged inlays and open-book headstock, everything here leans into that classic feel and sound. And with a vintage-style strap and hardcase included, it’s ready to hit the stage or sit proudly in any collection.

The Epiphone Jeff Beck 1954 Les Paul takes its cues from one of the most recognisable guitars in Beck’s collection – the famously modded “Oxblood” Les Paul that appeared on the cover of *Blow by Blow*. Built in collaboration with Gibson Custom and the Jeff Beck estate, it’s a faithful recreation of a guitar that stood out as much for its raw character as it did for its sound. With its dark, chocolatey finish and stripped-back spec, this is all about capturing that rebellious, no-frills energy Beck was known for.
Under the hood, this Les Paul is loaded with a pair of USA-made Gibson Custombuckers – the same pickups used in top-tier Gibson Historic models. They’ve got the warmth and growl of vintage PAFs, with the clarity and definition to handle clean passages or edge-of-breakup grit with ease. They're wired through 50s-style circuitry using CTS pots and Mallory caps, giving you smooth taper, great response, and the kind of tone control that reacts to your playing – not just your knob settings.
One for the players who like something to hang onto – the Jeff Beck Custom Large C profile has serious heft. It’s modelled after Beck’s own guitar and gives you that vintage Les Paul feel without being a full-on baseball bat. The one-piece mahogany neck is joined with a long tenon for better resonance and sustain, and it's topped with a 22-fret Indian rosewood board that feels just right under the fingers. This is a neck that’s built for control, dynamics, and the kind of playing where feel really matters.
From top to tail, this guitar is packed with thoughtful touches. The open-book headstock gives it that unmistakable Gibson silhouette, while the aged mother-of-pearl inlays and gold speed knobs keep the vintage vibe alive. The historic aluminium wraparound bridge keeps things simple and solid, adding sustain and resonance without over-complicating the design. Schaller tuners hold everything in place with smooth precision, and it all comes bundled in a custom Epiphone hardcase with a vintage-style strap – a proper finish to a seriously considered tribute.
