Built around the original Bad Monkey circuit, it now adds two brand new voices, Behaved and Badder, each with their own character and punch. The patent-pending Barrel Control blends any two of the three circuits, letting you move from subtle breakup to full-throttle chaos with just a twist. With EQ controls named Grunt and Screech, plus a standard gain and level setup, the Badder Monkey is all about giving guitarists and bassists a playful but seriously powerful toolbox of tones.
A three-position toggle switch unlocks even more sounds, letting the Bad circuit run in-phase, out-of-phase for wild harmonic textures, or letting all circuits roar together in Troop Mode. Behaved offers smoother, more classic breakup, Bad is the exact circuit from the original Bad Monkey beloved by players worldwide, and Badder pushes into more aggressive and raw distortion. Whether you need a light push for rhythm parts or a saturated wall of overdrive, the SC1-style triple-circuit setup ensures a huge range of tones.
The 360-degree Barrel Control is a standout feature, letting you blend any two of the three circuits at once. This creates hundreds of unique tone combinations, from subtle tonal shades to wide, harmonically rich textures. Detent stops at each circuit allow you to isolate one voice completely, giving you everything from single-circuit purity to blended chaos. It’s not a gain boost – it’s a blend control for sculpting truly unique drive sounds.
