The Export’s 6-ply poplar shells produce a smooth, even sound that suits both practice and performance. Poplar is known for its balanced midrange and solid low-end response, making it great for rock, pop, funk, and beyond. The 45-degree bearing edges improve contact between head and shell, helping each drum to speak clearly and project well in all playing situations.
Mounted securely, made to sing
Pearl's Opti-Loc suspension system keeps your toms secure without choking the tone. Using a triangular mount that attaches at two tension rods and the air vent, it reduces shell contact and lets your drums resonate more freely. Whether you’re mic’d up or playing acoustically, your toms will sound open and consistent – and stay right where you want them.
Ready-to-play hardware and cymbals
The included HWP-834 pack features double-braced stands for durability and stability. It includes hi-hat and snare stands (H830/S830), a bass drum pedal (P930), and two cymbal boom stands (BC830), giving you a full setup that's gig-ready from the start.
