Vintage looks with modern performance

The amber lacquer finish gives the YAS82ZA a distinctive vintage-inspired appearance without changing the professional features that define the Custom Z range. After lacquering, each instrument is hand engraved to create greater contrast against the brass, highlighting the detailed anemone design. A specialised topcoat helps maintain the finish over time, giving you an instrument that continues to look its best through regular rehearsals, performances, and practice.

The included V1 neck uses a wide bore taper to create a free-blowing feel with excellent flexibility, helping you shape your sound with confidence. A rigid nickel silver neck receiver contributes to focused tone and responsive playing, while compatibility with other Yamaha Custom Z and Custom EX necks offers room to tailor your setup. The lightweight body design also reduces blowing resistance, making longer performances feel more comfortable.
