Practice anytime with authentic feel

The SVC50 is designed for quiet practice without sacrificing the natural touch and balance of a traditional cello. Its alder body and detachable beech knee supports help keep the cello stable while playing seated, just like an acoustic instrument. The maple neck and ebony fingerboard ensure a familiar feel, making transitions between this and an acoustic cello smooth and intuitive.

Built-in reverb adds space to your sound

Three built-in reverb modes—Room, Hall 1, and Hall 2—give you the option to tailor your sound while practising or performing. This means you can simulate the feel of playing in a real acoustic space, even when wearing headphones. These options are great for keeping your playing expressive and enjoyable during silent practice.

Play along and connect easily

With its Aux-in jack, the SVC50 lets you plug in a phone or music player and jam along with your favourite tracks or backing accompaniments. The Line Out and Phones Out jacks also provide flexible output options, whether you’re sending your signal to headphones, an amp, or a recording setup.

Portable and complete with useful accessories

Weighing just 3.5kg, the SVC50 is easy to carry to lessons, rehearsals, or gigs. It comes with a soft case, stereo adapter, audio cable, and a chest support—everything you need to get started right away. The cello runs on two AA batteries, giving up to 35 hours of playtime, or you can use an optional Yamaha adaptor for mains power.
