Yamaha Flute Assist Attachment Overview
The Yamaha Flute Assist Attachment is a detachable practice aid for developing flute players and teachers. Designed for Concert C flute, it lets you produce a stable tone simply by blowing into the attachment, helping beginners to produce sound while getting used to the instrument. It also allows you to separate different areas of practice, so you can concentrate on fingering and holding technique with the attachment fitted, then remove it to work specifically on your embouchure and tone.
The included protective patch sits between the attachment and head joint to help guard against scratches during use. You also get a compact case for carrying and storing the ASTFL safely. And when you're ready to practise, Yamaha's online user guide covers basic playing techniques and guides you through a simple song, with access provided via the instruction manual's QR code.
