The highly flamed maple back and ribs and selected European spruce top is a tried and tested combination on quality cellos. Maple and spruce produce a focused and centred sound with plenty of body and tonal warmth. Their structural integrity makes them suitable for instruments that last a lifetime. The woods are hand-selected based on their age, before being seasoned and hand-carved. This results in a cello that looks beautiful and is very hard-wearing, helping the player develop their own unique sound.
Everything you need
This Young Master cello comes as an outfit to ensure you have everything you need. The included Young Polycarbonate Cello Case with room inside for a 4/4 cello, a bow holder, and internal mesh pockets, the Young Polycarbonate Cello Case will hold everything you need to bring with you whether you're headed to the practice room or off to a concert.
The included Jargar Classic strings are made of a flexible steel core which gives a warm and brilliant sound. They are the result of nearly 60 years of traditional, handmade cello string development by a cellist for cellists. The included Orchestra CB025 bulletwood bow is a strong bow, thanks to the durable bulletwood stick and nickel silver hardware. Professional string players enjoy the traditional sound of bulletwood. This bow is well-balanced with a round stick, giving you greater control over your bow's movements. This is enhanced by the ebony frog: ebony is the ideal surface for contact with your thumb, as it contains natural oils and won't require varnish.
