Quality construction
One of the standout features of the 17043GYR is its two-piece #43 bell, combining gold brass and yellow brass to produce a rich, deep sound that still maintains brilliance and shine. This bell has been treated with the same top-secret annealing processes as the renowned Stradivarius trumpets, ensuring excellent playability. If you're a fan of Bach's classic designs, you'll appreciate that the 17043GYR also features a nickel hook design inspired by three different eras: New York, Mt. Vernon, and Elkhart.
The 17043GYR has an ML .459” one-piece brass valve chassis, the same used in Bach's 180 line of trumpets. Its lightweight body, brass inner and outer slides, and brass Z braces make it a pleasure to handle and play. A new #6R leadpipe, specifically designed for this model, has drastically increased this trumpet's response, making it the most agile Bach to date.
Handmade for you
All Bach trumpets are handmade in America by highly skilled craftspeople and artisans. The 17043GYR is constructed from high-quality yellow and gold brass, offering the best qualities of both and giving you an unparalleled tonal colour palette. Once the 17043GYR has been made, it is coated with silver plating to offer a bright tonality.
The Apollo series
While Bach is currently known for the Stradivarius series, he also produced Apollos. Originally designed and manufactured by Vincent Bach in the early 1920s, Bach trumpets are still made to the same rigorous high standards. By only using the best quality materials and combining them with proprietary manufacturing methods, the name Vincent Bach soon became synonymous with superior instruments. The Apollo series hark back to Bach's origins while looking forwards to new manufacturing techniques.
