Go wireless

Thanks to Bluetooth connectivity, no dongles are necessary. Make the most of this with the free Zoom F2 control application. With this, you'll be able to trigger and end recordings, check battery-life, manipulate the output volume as well as apply filtering without touching the unit. Should you desire, you can also pair the F2-BT with Timecode System's UltraSync BLUE device, this allows you to create and receive time-code for your recorded files.

All-round sound

For the finest recording results, ensure the lavalier microphone is attached to the presenter with the supplied microphone clip, once in place connect it directly to the F2-BT via the 3.5mm cable. Thanks to the lavalier microphone's omnidirectional polar pattern, you'll be guaranteed a 360 degree pick-up range. This captures sound from every angle, ensuring consistency regardless of positioning and movement. It is also excellent for naturally reducing proximity effect, allowing you to place the microphone close to the source, without the fear of unnatural "boom" dominating your recordings. Make the most of the three complimentary windscreens to minimise the risk of wind compromising those crucial takes.

Multiple choices

Incredibly versatile. When recording with the F2-BT you'll be able to choose between 32-bit / 44.1 kHz or 32-bit / 48 kHz resolutions. Thanks to their uncompressed format, your recordings will sound exactly the same as when you created them. To get the sound right at source, engage the in-built 80Hz high-pass filter, this eradicates any build-up of low-frequency content to save you having to reach for EQs in the post-production stage.

Never run out of space

The F2-BT's ability to record directly to a microSD/microSDHC/microSDXC (not included) ensures you'll never run out of memory. Supporting up to 512GB of memory, when your card is full, simply archive and format, or buy a new one.

In-sync

There's nothing worse than when it comes to post-production and your audio and video files are out of sync. To make sure this is never an issue for you, Zoom have included a state-of-the-art, high-precision internal clock (±0.5ppm) within the F2.
