With the US-42B, you and your guests will be the centre of attention at all times. The handy ducking feature automatically turns down the volume of your music when any signal is detected from your microphone. This is perfect for when you need to make quick on-show announcements. Once you've finished speaking the music jumps back to its initial volume. This function can be used to overlay songs, or allow translation for foreign language speakers.
Triggering
The US-42B boasts three sound trigger pads. At one simple push of a button you'll be able to play any audio file you desire as long as it's assigned to the pad. By using your computer, you'll be able to drag and drop your chosen files with absolute ease. However, it's important to note that this mode is disabled for iOS devices.

Straight out the box
For a quick and easy set-up, the US-42B ships from the factory with "talk show" mode engaged. This means if you're not tech-savvy you'll be able to achieve excellent recordings with the perfect amount of equalisation and compression applied. You'll be free to change this setting to suit any scenario via the complimentary computer software included.
Which mode should I use?
By adjusting the switch that lies on the front of the unit's sleek black fascia you'll be able to automatically adjust the internal signal routing of your device.
Broadcast mode is great for personal broadcasting tasks. When engaged the loopback function is automatically on and the inputs for Mic 1 and 2 are set to mono. Creator mode should be set when you desire to work with music or video. In contrast, the loopback function is automatically switched off and any signal from Mic 1 and 2 are sent to the computer separately.
