This includes a high-sensitivity breath sensor and a second sensor for octave switching when using Flute Mode. Together, they capture subtle performance details similar to those of an acoustic instrument.

Built for expressiveness, Brisa includes a motion sensor that lets you apply effects like vibrato simply by moving the instrument, allowing you to shape the sound in real time with your performance style.Additional features such as thumb buttons, S1/S2 buttons and transposition controls give players further ways to adapt their sound without changing their playing technique.

At the heart of Brisa is Roland’s SuperNATURAL Winds engine, designed specifically for wind instruments. It provides realistic, dynamic sound that mirrors the feel of acoustic instruments. You get over 100 built-in tones, including flutes, saxophones, clarinets, trumpets, strings, pan flutes, shakuhachi and more. Synthesised and percussive tones add extra layers of creative potential.

Brisa also supports additional sounds through Roland Cloud, which can be accessed via the Aerophone Brisa app once logged into a Roland account. This wide sound selection makes Brisa suitable for solo practice, live performance, film scoring and studio production, giving players room to explore different styles and genres.
