The PSP Datamix A567 is a analog-modelled plugin recreation of a classic EQ module from the original Datamix recording console. Officially endorsed by legendary recording engineer Eddie Kramer, the hardware console was used by Kramer to record some of the most historically important musical artists including Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss and many more. Originally found in the world-renowned studio Electric Lady Studios, this plugin captures the essence of that iconic classic sound.
The Datamix A567 isn’t a subtle effect, and it’s designed to not be transparent, even when all parameters are set neutral. Even just putting on your tracks with no tweaks, your sound will be coloured with plenty of sonic character from the preamp and output sections alone.
