The KRK V8S4 uses an 8-inch woven Kevlar woofer paired with a 1-inch Kevlar dome tweeter for full-range, balanced audio reproduction. Using the same material for both drivers ensures minimal distortion and smooth crossover performance, resulting in natural midrange, extended bass, and clean highs.
This consistency across drivers helps your mixes translate across all playback systems. The extended low-end response is especially useful for bass-heavy genres or film sound design, while the fast transient handling lets you accurately hear detail and dynamics during critical listening tasks.
The V8S4’s built-in DSP engine offers 49 selectable EQ presets developed from extensive real-world acoustic modelling. These presets help you adjust the monitor’s response to compensate for placement near walls, desk reflections, or other acoustic issues.
Using the included KRK key, you can easily cycle through settings to suit your room and workflow. This flexibility ensures a neutral and trustworthy listening experience, even in less-than-ideal spaces.
With 230 watts of bi-amped Class-D amplification, the V8S4 delivers plenty of headroom for loud playback without distortion. The tweeter and woofer are powered by dedicated amplifiers, ensuring balanced output and improved dynamics.
