JST Tominator

JST Tominator is a drum bleed removal noise gate plug-in. Designed to help you clean up live drum recordings, Tominator can be used on any drum shell track including snares, kicks and of course toms to reduce unwanted cymbal and hi-hat bleed. Based on adjustable filter automation, Tominator creates a more natural bleed removal solution than traditional noise gates, letting you mix with more control than ever before.

With only a few perfectly tweaked parameters, you can spend less time cleaning up tracks and more time mixing. The intelligent Cutoff design responds to drum shells accurately and lets you preserve the low-end sustain to maintain the resonant note of your drum for natural and realistic decay. Envelope controls including Attack, Release, Hold and Speed are tweakable to match your source material. All of this is displayed on an extra large waveform display where you can visually match your threshold level to the audio for accurate bleed removal levels.
