The extended frequency response and revamped gain stage all help to contribute to the stellar audio quality the Auteur MKII produces. Providing grit and colour to any input, the Black Lion Audio Auteur MKII Preamp also includes built-in Phantom Power for connecting studio-grade condenser microphones. The preamp also includes an Edcor output transformer for optimal audio performance, ensuring you capture every nuance of your source audio while retaining its natural harmonic qualities.

The Black Lion Audio Auteur MKII Twin Channel includes an XLR microphone input as well as a TRS Line Output (balanced) ideal for a range of audio sources. The Auteur MKII is perfect for a range of recording applications from drums and electric guitars to vocal performances and more. The revamped gain stage also ensures lower noise and lower distortion for optimal audio quality and performance value. In addition to the built-in Phantom Power, the preamp includes a Phase Switch and a 10dBU pad for added convenience.
