The RD-8 MKII takes a modern twist on classic drum machine design. It uses the 662 OTA chip, creating that timeless 808 sound. Produce everything from earth-shattering kicks to snappy hats.
Perform live beats. The RD-8 MKII has a host of features to make live use easy. Step repeat, note repeat, real-time triggering, live over-dubbing. All of this makes it super easy to make songs as you go.
This drum machine is easy to use, but has plenty of in-depth controls for powerful rhythmic shaping. Find a wave designer with individual attack and sustain controls. And a dual-mode 12 dB filter, toggleable between LPF and HPF.
It also features the option for parameter chaining. This allows you to customise how individual parameters function - either globally or switching on with specific songs or patterns. And if you want to control the RD-8 externally, you can use USB control for sync and MIDI triggering.
