The Behringer MONITOR1 employs active-free circuitry to ensure the purest signal path possible. Monitor controllers with active circuits can result in unwanted digital artifacts and colouration to your sound. The passive design eliminates, meaning you dont need a power supply to use it. This makes the monitor controller highly portable, thanks to its compact design and passive circuitry.
The result is a pure and unaffected signal which will not add distortion or RF interference to your setup. From your home to the studio and even on the move, the MONITOR1 is perfect for all musicians.
The MONITOR1 features an ergonomic and streamlined design. The large rotary knob is the main control of the unit. The large control delivers optimal precision when dialling in your levels. This allows you to set your levels with accuracy and ease.
In addition the large control knob, the MONITOR1 features both a mono and mute button. The mono button works by combining the stereo signal into a monophonic signal. The left and right input signals are summed, then the mono signal is then outputted via the left and right outputs. This is a handy tool for checking for phase problems from your stereo signal. The Mute button is great for deading sound quickly. Should you want to talk to an artist or just stop the audio abruptly, simply engage the mute buttons and the volume will turn all the way down.
