Shape time for any instrument
HyperWarp's graph gives you detailed control over the timing and movement of your source. Draw speed changes, stepped stutters, and direction shifts to construct rhythmic sequences or smoother time-warped effects. Create accurate half-time processing, sloping stutters, scratch-style movements, and deep tape stops within a single graphical interface.
Explore granular transformations
HyperWarp's granular engine splits the incoming signal into microscopic snapshots before reconstructing them according to your graph sequence. At grain level, pitch, resolution, randomness, and feedback can each be adjusted independently for detailed control over the resulting texture. Seven effect profiles introduce different processing characteristics, letting you reshape familiar audio into granular modulation, rhythmic glitches, delays, and more abstract sound design.
Build effects through experimentation
HyperWarp gives you plenty of ways to generate ideas without programming every movement manually. Dedicated graph randomisers can create stepped or smooth shapes, while parameter randomisation lets you quickly explore different processing combinations. Found something worth keeping? Lock selected parameters in place, continue randomising the remaining controls, then develop the result further using the profile-specific macros. This makes it easy to balance unpredictable processing with more deliberate sound design.
Reshape loops and stems
HyperWarp can reconstruct beats, melodies, stems, and complete loops as glitchy rhythmic chops or transform them into source material for granular processing. More extreme effects can be blended precisely using the global wet/dry control, while band-narrowing filters restrict the processed signal to a selected frequency range. This gives you control over how strongly HyperWarp changes the original material, whether you're adding small rhythmic details or substantially rebuilding a loop.
190 ready-to-use presets
HyperWarp includes a collection of global and graph-specific presets created by sound designers. These provide immediate starting points for the plugin's different processing styles, covering chaotic glitch treatments, granular delays, and other time-based transformations. Load a preset as-is or use it as the foundation for your own graph sequences and parameter settings.
Seven granular processing profiles
- Clean Warp: Clear time manipulation with independent pitch and timing control
- Flange Warp: Compact grains and sharper effects with adjustable time and pitch
- Degrade Warp: Lo-fi time manipulation shaped through granular processing
- Filter Spam: Per-grain filtering with extensive randomised movement
- Harmo-Nicer: Builds harmonic density using pitch-shifted grains
- Fauxcoder: Generates resonant harmonics with a classic vocoder-style character
- Lo-Fizzly: Granular digital downsampling for fizzy, degraded textures
Reviews
"I love tools that add random character to a sound, anything that can mangle a sound in unexpected ways, so Hyperwarp definitely ticks that box for me." - M-Phazes (Grammy Award-Winning Producer - Eminem, Lil Yachty, Remi Wolf, Kehlani)
"I don’t think I’ve ever come across any plugin that can do what HyperWarp does! This is fantastic!" - Zardonic (Artist, Producer - Fear Factory, Bullet For My Valentine, Blue Stahli)
"I love this! HyperWarp feels like it’s combining the best features of my top five mangling plugins under one roof, and then some! And Baby's UIs are always such an eye candy!" - Eldad Guetta (Composer and Producer - La La Land, Joker, Babylon)
