The Vermona Filter Lancet is a versatile analog/filter overdrive unit combining a multimode filter, with a comprehensive overdrive circuit and discrete built VCA. The analog multimode filter features low high and band-pass modes, allowing you to control every aspect of the frequency range. The band-pass filter features a slope of 12 dB per octave, with the low and high-pass modes featuring 24dB filters. It is also equipped with an LFO, which can be re-triggered by gate or audio signals for optimal flexibility. It also includes an envelope generator and envelope follower. The LFO features 2 frequency ranges, up to 250Hz. It also includes five waveforms including: Saw up and Saw down, square, sine and triangle.
Its versatile analog circuitry and comprehensive controls means you can generate a whole host of effects. Its flexible trigger and LFO mean you can do everything from chop up pad sounds rhythmically, to alienating drum sounds. The versatile combination of the filter, overdrive and flexible parameters means you can generate effects such as filter sweeps, wah and tremolo sounds and more. Its ergonomic layout is broke down into six sections, with a dedicated section and controls for the different parameters. The vintage-style design is reminiscent of vintage effects processors and its robust, all-metal housing means it can withstand the rigors of extensive live use. The Filter Lancet also includes a range of connectivity including a ¼-inch input, Gate, Audio Trig, Pedal/CV and a ¼-inch output.
