The Marantz Rack Mix 12 incorporates 6 mic/line combination inputs (HDHQ Denon-Marantzproprietary mic pre's) perfect for capturing studio-grade recordings from a range of audio inputs. The mic preamps themselves are designed to get the best performance out of your audio inputs, capturing every nuance of your source material. The versatile range of connectivity makes it perfect for recording everything from electric guitars to sequencers and more. Also included are 6 mono (3 stereo) RCA inputs for connecting to external devices such as a remote recording device. The 1/4 inch (5.3mm) mic monitoring port can be used to monitor the microphone's signals for added convenience.

Design & Construction

The robust design of the Marantz Rack Mix 12 is perfect for studio settings thanks to its 1U rackmountable construction. Each of the channels features individual level control as well as additional control for the mono output port. A master level control is also incorporated, and the Marantz Rack Mix 12 can be powered from standard AC or a 24V DC power source. One of the most unique features of the Marantz Rack Mix 12 is the integrated 3-level equalizer. This 3-band EQ gives you added control over your inputs, allowing you to do everything from roll off the low end of a microphone input to increasing the higher bands to bring clarity and sparkle from an electric guitar.
