Key Features
The Behringer DI20P PRO DI 2 is a passive stereo DI box suited to live sound, studio recording, and instrument setups. Its custom-built MIDAS transformer and fully transformer-isolated circuitry provide clean signal transfer with low noise and a linear 20Hz to 30kHz frequency response. Two unbalanced 1/4'' TS inputs are paired with balanced Neutrik XLR outputs, letting you connect instruments and other unbalanced sources to mixers and recording equipment. You also get dedicated Thru connections, so signals can continue to an amplifier or monitor alongside the balanced output.
Need to handle different signal levels? A switchable -15dB pad accommodates guitar, line, and speaker-level sources, with a maximum input level of 30dBu. An Earth Lift switch helps tackle ground-loop noise, while passive operation means there's no external power supply to worry about. The aluminium enclosure and protective rubber corners provide added protection during transport and regular use.

The DI20P uses a custom-built MIDAS transformer so you can convert signals while maintaining low noise and signal cohesion. The fully transformer-isolated design creates electrical separation between inputs and outputs, allowing a cleaner signal path for live and studio use. With a frequency response of 20Hz to 30kHz (±1dB), 0.01 percent THD + N at 1kHz and 0dBu, and a 108dBu signal-to-noise ratio, it provides transparent signal transfer. Additionally, the passive circuitry requires no power supply, adding less power connections around your system.
Stereo connectivity works with two unbalanced signals through the 1/4'' TS inputs, which then send balanced signals onwards via two Neutrik XLR outputs. Each channel also provides 1/4'' TS Thru connection so you can pass the original unbalnaced signal to an amplifier or monitor at the same time. This makes the DI20P ideal for when you need to feed a mixing desk while keeping another connnection elsewhere on the rig. With two channels in one compact box, you can manage stereo equipment or two separate mono sources without needing two individual DI boxes.
Different sources can produce very different levels, so the DI20P includes switchable -15dB input attenuation. This lets you adapt the inputs for guitar, line, and speaker-level signals, with support for input levels up to 30dBu at 1kHz. An Earth Lift switch is also provided to separate the input and output grounds, helping you deal with unwanted ground-loop noise when connecting equipment. Combined with the transformer-isolated circuitry, low harmonic and phase distortion, and high-headroom design, these controls give you practical ways to keep your signal path under control across a range of setups. A DI box often spends plenty of time being moved between stages, studios, and storage, so the DI 20P uses a thick aluminium extrusion to protect its internal components. Rubber corner bumpers add another layer of protection against knocks during transport and use. And at 118mm wide, 112mm deep, and 64mm high, the enclosure stays compact enough to fit comfortably among the rest of your equipment. It weighs 0.54kg, giving you a solid, portable unit for regular live and studio work without adding unnecessary bulk to your system.
