The P-145BT features Yamaha's GHC (Graded Hammer Compact) keyboard, designed to reproduce the weighted touch of an acoustic piano while taking up less space than previous designs. The lower keys feel heavier and gradually become lighter towards the upper register, encouraging the correct playing technique from the very beginning. Four touch sensitivity settings also let you tailor the response to suit your playing style, whether you're practising delicate passages or building confidence with more dynamic performances.

Play and listen with greater flexibility

Bluetooth audio allows you to stream music from a compatible smartphone or tablet directly through the piano's built-in speakers, making practice more engaging as you play along with your favourite tracks. The Smart Pianist app provides simple access to many of the instrument's settings from your smart device, helping you change voices, adjust functions, and explore compatible features without relying on the onboard controls. USB connectivity also supports audio interfacing with compatible devices.

Expressive Yamaha grand piano sound

The P-145BT uses samples from Yamaha's CFIIIS full concert grand piano, delivering a bright, clear tone with detailed highs and a balanced overall character. Damper Resonance recreates the natural sympathetic resonance produced when the sustain pedal is used, adding extra depth to your performances. Alongside the main piano voices, you'll also find electric pianos, organs, harpsichord, accordion, and Di Zi sounds, plus built-in songs, a metronome, Duo mode, layering functions, reverb, and Sound Boost to support both practice and performance.
