The Roland GP-3 Compact Digital Grand Piano is an affordable and accessible way to have a grand piano in your home. Traditional grand piano aesthetics are combined with a streamlined form that only digital instruments can provide. With a depth of only 70cm, it'll fit in your space as conveniently as an upright. Its curved design and glossy black finish gives provides the class and elegance of a grand with a fraction of the footprint and weight.

The control panel provides easy access to the volume controls and changing other settings. Genuine acoustic feel

A digital grand's feel requires the highest level of authenticity. The GP-3 provides this perfectly. Its 88-key Progressive Hammer Action keybed simulates the change in the weight that the keys feel like when you move from the highest notes to the bass notes. Your GP-3's realism doesn't stop when you press down the keys - an acoustic feeling escapement mechanism replicates how the keys release. The pedals on your new piano are also weighted to feel like a mechanical pedal system, meaning that you can employ the same techniques as with an acousitc in addition to the half-damper functionality.

The best sound you'll hear

An integrated stereo speaker system is specially tuned to provide the best sound within the small form of the GP-3. Separate 11 W amplifiers for each speaker provides a huge room-filling sound while advanced sound processing technology makes this piano sound as close to an acoustic grand as possible. To add a far greater feel of realism, the tone colour can be adjusted like a real grand piano by lifting the lid to different positions.

Enhanced with technology

Technology is well-integrated into the GP-3. Bluetooth audio functionality allows you to stream music to your piano's speaker system, both for your own enjoyment and as a backing track. It can also be used to wirelessly send MIDI to your computer, controlling software synths and instruments easily. You can connect manually to your computer using the USB type B connector for USB MIDI and USB audio. The second USB type A port will let you use memory sticks to save and load data.

Connect to the app

Use the Roland Piano App on your smartphone or tablet to vastly expand the experience your GP-3 can provide. You can select sounds on the piano through the app, browse the onboard music library and access scores to play along with. The app will aid your learning too by letting you set goals, rhythm games and a One Week Master Program which will provide a guided learning process to pieces.
