Doepfer A-123-2 Doepfer 6/12/18/24dB Highpass Overview
The Doepfer A-123-2 is a voltage-controlled high-pass filter for Eurorack modular systems. Offering four different slopes, from 6 dB per octave to a sharp 24 dB per octave, you can create aggressive high-pass filter sweeps, or subtly cut out unwanted low-end from a muddy signal. Featuring individual outputs for each of the four filter slopes on offer, you can create chains of high-pass filters to send to multiple destinations at once, for textured layering.
The A-123-2 provides three CV inputs on the module, one standard frequency cutoff control, one frequency cutoff control with attenuation, and a resonance control with attenuation. This provides a wide range of modulation options to create all kinds of effects. The on-board level control is designed to start clipping past 5, allowing you to add characterful distortion to your sounds too.
