The DP-50 digital piano features 88 keys with a graded hammer action that gives more resistance on the lower notes and a lighter touch on the highest notes, just like an acoustic piano. The 64 note polyphony allows you to play even the most complicated of pieces without the loss of any notes, even when playing long passages with the sustain pedal. The piano includes three pedals: a sustain pedal with adjustable half damper function, soft pedal and sostenuto pedal. This allows the performer to play a versatile repertoire just how the composer intended.
This Gear4music digital piano features a full and traditional cabinet design. The elegant side posts, integrated pedal board and a back panel give the instrument a desirable and attractive look. The piano also features a flip-up music rest and when not in use, the slide out piano lid keeps the keys and control panel protected.
This piano boasts a diverse set of voices. The flagship grand piano sound features a multi-layer stereo sampled sound, which sounds natural and authentic. As well as this, 128 sounds have been added, including electric pianos, organs, strings and various orchestral instruments. All the sounds can be easily accessed via the 17 selection buttons on the control panel and all selections are clearly visible on the blue LCD display.
The DP-50 is packed with lots of extra useful tools to perfect your performance. The voices can be tweaked with a two band fader EQ, 13 types level of chorus and eight reverb types and levels. For a more dramatic change, the instrument can be tuned, transposed and panned, making it suitable for ensemble performances. An arpeggio and dual mode have also been added for a comprehensive tonal sound.
The Gear4music DP-50 offers a range of recording and learning functions, allowing you to progress and compose your own complex scores. The 16 track sequencer allows you to record multiple tracks on top of each other for a sophisticated song and can then be stored on to a USB drive via the front USB input. The piano also features 55 lessons, which can be split up in to three stages for a simple and comprehensive learning experience.
This piano features a whole host of inputs and outputs, making the DP-50 suitable for all performance and recording situations. MIDI In, Out, Thru and 'plug and play' USB MIDI make it suitable for plugging in to an interface or computer to use in DAWs and recording software. Two headphone sockets have been included for silent practicing, even when playing as a duet or in teaching scenarios. A line RCA input has been added so that you can play along to your favourite tracks and the line RCA output can connect straight to a mixer or external speaker. Finally, a USB input has been added to save all recorded tracks as an audio file, or to play back any audio tracks through the piano's speakers.
