Casio CTK 240 Portable Keyboard

Perfect for Beginners

The Yamaha CTK 240, 49 Key, electric keyboard is ideal for any budding musician. The 49 full sized keys can be used to full effect and play melodies in the right hand and accompanying chords in the left. Alternatively, the CTK 240 has 100 accompaniments and 100 voices and you can play along to any of the 50 in-built songs.

Portable & Lightweight

Being portable and lightweight, with a dual speaker system, you can play and enjoy anywhere by using 6 AA batteries or the optional power supply (not included). Headphones can also be connected for silent practice.

Tons of Fun Voices, Songs & Rhythms

The 50 built in songs include London Bridge, Silent Night, Jingle Bells and Auld Lang Syne. Each song has extra instrument tracks that play along with the main tune so that you feel that you are playing in a larger ensemble.

100 built in voices cover a wide range of instruments from grand pianos to saxophones, guitars and trumpets to name but a few. Also, some of the sounds a split voice, so the top half of the keyboard plays a different voice to the bottom – perfect for creating a sense of ensemble playing. Some are sounds are layered so two voices are played simultaneously. Percussion sounds are also programmed by pressing each of the keyboards’ keys.

With 100 rhythms, there is a combination of bass, drums and other accompanying instruments that change notes when you change chord. The backing tracks volume can be changed independently from the melody volume and there is a Fill-In button to provide extra variations.

User Friendly Design

The LCD display shows all relevant information – the tempo, tone, chord name and the song selection. A beat indicator is useful to show where the beat is to help play in time with the music. Fingered chord symbols make it easier to play different chords. The Transpose function allows you to play a song in whichever key is needed to accompany other players/singers.

Gear4music HP-170 Headphones

The HP-170 Stereo Headphones by Gear4music can be used for a wide variety of audio applications, including instrument play, studio and live work or as general purpose headphones. These headphones have an adjustable headband and come with a mini jack connection and a 1/4" jack adapter to allow connection to a wide variety of equipment.
