Casio's CTK 240 offers a range of features ideal for any promising musician. The full-sized 49 note keyboard can be used to full effect. Play melodies with the right hand and accompanying chords on the left. The CTK 240 comes equipped with 100 rhythms and 100 voices, so you can play along to any of the 50 in-built songs as well as creating your own music too.

Portable and Lightweight

Take your keyboard on the road. The CTK 240 is both portable and lightweight, which makes it easy to move and transport between locations. With a dual speaker system installed on both sides of the keyboard, you can enjoy playing your keyboard anywhere, at any time, with 6 AA batteries or the optional power supply (not included). Headphones can also be connected using a standard 6.35mm (1/4") headphone connector, for silent practice. When battery-powered and plugged in to headphones, this keyboard is the ideal companion for long car journeys.

Play Along Songs

Get friends and family tapping their feet. With 50 easy-to-learn songs included, such as 'London Bridge', 'Silent Night', 'Jingle Bells', and 'Auld Lang Syne', you can listen, learn, and play at your own pace. Each song has extra instrument tracks that play along with the main tune. You'll feel that you are playing in a band.

Built-In Instruments

The CTK 240 is equipped with a range of 100 built-in voices that cover a wide range of instruments from grand pianos to saxophones, guitars and trumpets to name but a few. For some of these, you can split the voices, so the top half of the keyboard plays a different voice to the bottom - perfect for creating an amazing sense of ensemble playing.

Range of Rhythms

Choose the perfect accompaniment for every tune. With a range of 100 rhythms, you can explore a combination of bass, drums and other accompanying instruments that change notes when you play different chords. The backing track volume can be changed independently from the melody volume, and the inclusion of the Fill-In button provides extra style variations, just like a real drummer!

User Friendly Design

Young musicians will quickly understand how to make the most out of their keyboard. An easy to read LCD display shows you all the relevant information regarding your sound and performance - the tempo, tone, chords, and song selection. The beat indicator is useful to help you keep in time with the music as you play, while the fingered chord symbols make it easier to learn how to play. What’s more, the Transpose function allows you to play a song in whichever key is needed to accompany other players/singers.
