Four-speaker system and quality tones ensure an impressive sound

The AP-S450 boasts an advanced 4-speaker system strategically placed to optimise sound projection, resulting in an immersive experience that exceeds its slimline dimensions. With the support of two amplification channels, it delivers a seamless and dynamic audio experience.

To match the AP-S450's exceptional sound, it features a collection of 26 tones, including two Concert Grand piano tones: Hamburg (newly sampled for this model) and New York. The Hamburg tone projects a rich tone, while the New York tone presents a brighter sound with resonant overtones.

Visual information bar with touch controls

The Visual Information Bar and Touch Controls have been redesigned to provide a seamless user experience. The new touch controls allow for quick access to commonly used functions, while intelligently disappearing when not in use to minimise distractions. Through the Visual Information Bar you can access key velocity, damper pedal depth, or a silent metronome. This offers useful insights into your playing to help with your practice sessions.

Features like the Piano Roll make it easier to see which notes to play, even if you’re not confident reading music, while the Score Viewer lets you follow sheet music and listen along at the same time. There’s also a Music Player for practising with your favourite songs, plus a Live Concert Simulator that adds audience and environmental sounds to recreate the feel of performing live. You can adjust tempo, repeat tricky sections, record your progress, and even control piano settings directly from the app. It’s a thoughtful, user-friendly way to practise, learn, and enjoy playing at your own pace.
