The features, sound, and pricing of the JT-4000 MICRO are undeniable, but the exclusively USB-based MIDI connectivity meant it wasn't as easily integrated into some setups. Behringer have reworked components and circuitry to find the space for a compact 3.5 mm MIDI jack in the same form factor. This means that the JT-4000M can find a place with your favourite keyboards, synced to drum machines, or controlled by sequencers. If you're starting out or expanding your setup, the JT-4000M can grow with your gear.

Authentic recreation

Taking notes from a classic mid-90s virtual analog synthesizer that helped to define trance and techno sounds throughout the rest of the decade, the JT-4000 Micro's authentic design features an analog low-pass filter, four voices of paraphony, and true-to-the-original FM and Supersaw engines. Plus, for the final touch of authentic character, this miniature synth features a 12-bit DAC, preserving the subtly lo-fi personality that made this sound engine such an enduring and genre-defining design to begin with.
