Versatile resonator for unique tonal textures

The HALOS module is built around a powerful resonator engine designed to respond dynamically to any audio source including envelopes, triggers or noise inputs. This flexibility allows users to craft a broad palette of resonant tones, making it an excellent tool for adding organic textures or simulating acoustic instrument behaviour within modular patches.

Advanced physical modelling synthesis

Using modal synthesis algorithms HALOS accurately models the behaviour of vibrating structures such as strings, membranes and tubes. This technology gives sound designers the ability to create timbres with realistic physical qualities, expanding creative options well beyond traditional subtractive or wavetable synthesis.

Three distinct resonator modes

HALOS includes three resonator types, Modal Resonator, Sympathetic Strings and Non Linear/Dispersion Strings. Each offers unique sound shaping potential from harmonically rich sympathetic resonances to complex non linear behaviours, helping users design distinctive tones tailored to their musical style.

Pseudo polyphony and precise control

With pseudo polyphony of up to four notes HALOS produces rich layered sounds ideal for complex compositions. Its 16 bit high resolution CV control ensures smooth and precise modulation across all parameters, enabling intricate automation and expressive performance control within Eurorack setups.
